Please ask for an information packet, linger to discuss the details of being a foster home, and get any questions answered.

There will also be foster families available to give their insight and experiences with fostering.

STRMN Rescue Reunion
June 2009

Every year Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota provides a June afternoon of fun and laughter with our former adopters and their Shih Tzu! We invite everyone back year after year to reacquaint ourselves with our precious foster dogs-now in wonderful forever homes! We hold this event in a large shaded school yard-totally fenced in to prevent any escapes from the off leash running and playing. Last year we had 50 dogs throughout the afternoon relaxing under the apple trees, playing with each other, lounging in wading pools, or cuddled in a person’s arms. This is truly the highlight of the year for our volunteers, and they gladly provide our adopters with food & beverage, Picture Boards of rescued dogs through out the year, a fabulous Shih Tzu Store full of items they can purchase for their dogs or themselves, and great educational materials!
